The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival in partnership with the National Automotive & Truck Museum of the US (NATMUS) hosted an estimated 250 people in the various garages. The garages in 2007 ranged from the IHRA Professional Drag Racing garage in Northeast Indiana, a retro garage full of vintage memorabilia, an auto trim shop that specializes in custom work, a custom fabrication garage and even a garage where vintage race cars are built.
Visitors to these garages commented on how pleased they were that the owners agreed to open their garage to the public. these are garages that most people would not see if it wasn’t for such an event. Many of the attendees were guys out for the afternoon while their wives were shopping. It worked out very well for everyone.
The Garage Cruise in 2008 will be even greater with the possible addition of the “Ultimate Garage”, the garage every man would die for.
